Abstract: Mn(III)-iodosylarene porphyrin adducts, [Mn(III)(ArIO)(Porp)]+, were synthesized by reacting electron-deficient Mn(III) porphyrin complexes with iodosylarene (ArIO) at -60 °C and characterized using various spectroscopic methods.
