Abstract: Nitrosation of 2-(1-adamantylmethyl)-1,1-dichlorocyclopropane with either adduct NOCl•(SO3)n or nitrosonium tetrafluoroborate gives 3- and 4-(1-adamantylmethyl)-5-chloroisoxazoles in good yields.
