Abstract: We prove the consistency of $$\mathfrak{u}_{\aleph_\omega} < 2^{\aleph_\omega}$$. We also show that the consistency strength of this statement is the existence of a measurable cardinal $$\kappa$$ with $$o(\kappa) = \kappa^{++}$$ . read more here.
