Abstract: New 1,7-bis(trialkoxysilylpropyl)-m-carboranedicarboxamides were synthesized by the reaction of 3-aminopropyltrialkoxysilanes with either m-carboranedicarboxylic acid chloride in the presence of Et3N or m-carboranedicarboxylic acid in the presence of N,N´-carbonyl-diimidazole.
