DOI: 10.1016/j.dyepig.2018.05.036

Abstract: Abstract Direct arylation polymerization enables “greener” synthesis of a high-performance semicrystalline π-conjugated polymer, poly[(2,5-bis(2-hexyldecyloxy)phenylene)-alt-(5,6-difluoro-4,7-di(thiophene-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole) (PPDT2FBT). The resulting polymers show a hole mobility of 4.7 × 10−3 cm2 V−1 s−1 in bottom-gate/top-contact field effect transistors, and a power conversion efficiency over… read more here.

Published in 2020 at "Polymer"

DOI: 10.1016/j.polymer.2020.122348

Abstract: Abstract A series of regioregular poly(3-hexylthiophenes) (rr-P3HTs) was synthetized by optimizing an eco-friendly Direct Arylation Polymerization (DArP) method, using as novel strategy, a gradual catalyst addition and temperature reaction increase improving P3HT quality. The polymers… read more here.

Published in 2018 at "Macromolecules"

DOI: 10.1021/acs.macromol.8b02297

Abstract: Direct C–H arylation polymerization (DARP) holds great promise for the green, atom-efficient synthesis of π-conjugated copolymers for use in high-performance polymer solar cells (PSCs). However, C–H arylation regioselectivity control for monomers containing multiple reactive aryl… read more here.

Published in 2018 at "Journal of Materials Chemistry C"

DOI: 10.1039/c7tc05293f

Abstract: Dioxyheterocycles, particularly 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene (EDOT), have proven to be useful building blocks for conjugated materials targeting various applications. The 3,4-phenylenedioxythiophene (PheDOT) unit is similar to the EDOT unit in terms of planarity and steric interactions, but… read more here.
