Abstract: The synthesis and the X-ray structural analysis of novel pincer and half-pincer silyllithiums: Ar2(N)(tBu2MeSi)SiLi (Ar(N) = o-dimethylbenzylamine) (2a), Ar2(N)(tBu)SiLi·Et2O (2b), Me2N(CH2)3(tBuMe2Si)2SiLi (4) and [Ar(N)(tBuMe2Si)2SiLi]4 (8) are presented.
