Abstract: Benzyl thioethers undergo rhodium(ii) catalyzed sigmatropic rearrangement reactions with aryldiazoacetates. Depending on the solvent and the electronic properties of the sulfide, the intermediate ylide undergoes either [1,2]- or [2,3]-sigmatropic rearrangement reactions in high yields. read more here.

Abstract: The synthesis of particular cyclopropane-tethered 1,5-enynes, namely 6-alkynyl-4-alkylidenebicyclo[3.1.0]hex-2-enes, enabled the discovery of unprecedented gold-catalyzed rearrangment to indenes.
