Abstract: A copper-mediated decarboxylative coupling of benzamides with potassium malonate monoesters via 8-aminoquinoline-directed C-H cleavage has been developed. This reaction proceeds only by a copper salt to produce the corresponding alkylation products in good yields. read more here.
