Abstract: A novel 1,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylato-8-hydroxyquinolinatopalladate(II), Na[Pd(8-QO)(cbdca)] (8-QO = 8-hydroxyquinoline and cbdca = 1,1-cyclobutanedicarboxylate) has been designed and synthesized.
