Abstract: Herein, a novel donor-acceptor (D-A) conjugated linear polymeric system, poly[(2,6-(4,8-bis(5-(2-ethylhexyl)-4-fluorothiophen-2-yl)-benzo[1,2-b:4,5-b']dithiophene))-alt-2,5-(3-carboxyl)-thiophene] (PBDT-F-COOH), with outstanding processing ability and its all-organic PBDT-F-COOH coating featuring chemical bonding for combination with polyurethane were prepared.
