Abstract: Herein we disclose a deoxyfluorination of alcohols with an electrophilic fluorine source via visible-light photoredox catalysis. This radical-mediated C-F coupling is capable of fluorinating secondary and tertiary alcohols efficiently, complementing previously reported nucleophilic deoxyfluorination protocols. read more here.
