Abstract: Treatment of ivermectin with sulfuric acid–acetic anhydride in pyridine gives sodium 5-sulfate-ivermectin and disodium 4″,5-disulfate-ivermectin. The synthesized salts are water-soluble compounds with promising antiparasitic activity. read more here.
