Abstract: Abstract Three rigid hexadentate salen-type (H2L) Zn − Er complexes, namely [ErZnL(OAc)3] (1), [ErZn2L2(OAc)2)](PF6)·CH3OH·CH3Cl2 (2) and [Er4Zn2L2(OAc)10(CH3OH)4](PF6)2·2CH3OH·2H2O (3) (H2L = N,N'-bis(2-oxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-1,2-phenylenediamine), have been isolated by the reactions of H2L with Er(OAc)3·6H2O salts.
