Abstract: Lakes provide significant ecosystem services that are compromised by human degradation. Watershed and in-lake restoration are used to improve the physical, chemical, and biological condition of lakes, but their success is rarely evaluated. Our objectives…

Abstract: Cyanobacterial blooms in eutrophic lakes are severe environmental problems worldwide. To characterize the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of cyanobacterial blooms, a high-throughput method is necessary for the specific detection of cyanobacteria. In this study, the cyanobacterial composition…

Abstract: The global application of nitrogen is far greater than phosphorus, and it is widely involved in the eutrophication of lakes and reservoirs. We used a bibliometric method to quantitatively and qualitatively evaluate nitrogen research in…

Abstract: Estimating the proportions of particulate organic carbon (POC) endmembers is essential to fully understand the carbon cycle, the function of aquatic ecosystems, and the migration of contaminants in eutrophic lakes. There is currently no effective…

Abstract: Abstract Photosynthetic picoeukaryotes (PPEs) play an important role in aquatic ecosystem functioning. There is still a relative lack of information on freshwater PPEs, especially in eutrophic lakes. We used a combination of flow cytometric sorting…

This study is based on the Landsat 8 OLI satellite images, and uses 5 lakes as sample, which are Dianchi Lake, Fuxian Lake, Yangzonghai Lake, Xingyun Lake and Qilu Lake, there are…
