Abstract: A new flavanone, namely 2-(S)-6,7,3’,5′-tetrahydroxyflavanone, was separated from the ethanol extracts of the dried vine stems of Spatholobus suberectus dunn, together with three known ones, 2-(S)-7,3’,5′-trihydroxyflavanone, liquiritigenin and butin.
