Abstract: Ring opening of 5-tert-butyl-3-[(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)hydrazinylidene]furan-2(3H)-one by the action of primary amines afforded a series of new 2-[(9H-fluoren-9-ylidene)hydrazinylidene]-5,5-dimethyl-4-oxohexan-amides. The synthesized compounds were tested for antinociceptive and antimicrobial activities.
