Abstract: Abstract A new fluorescent tetra-stilbene compound, 1,4-bis-dodecyloxy-2,5-bis-(2-{4-[2-(4-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-vinyl]-phenyl}-vinyl)-benzene (BDSSTS) derived from Heck chemistry was successfully synthesized.
