Abstract: O-(1′-[18F]fluoropropan-2′-yl)-l-tyrosine (1-[18F]FPT) was synthesized using the Ni(II)-(S)-[N-2-(N′-benzylprolyl)amino]benzophenone-S-tyrosine based precursor. The precursor was synthesized through a two-step process starting from RS-tyrosine, (S)BPB and Ni(II) chloride hexahydrate.
