Abstract: Potassium cyanide reacts with 3-aryl-4-phenylsulfonylfuroxan/ furazan under mild conditions in DMF at room temperature in the presence of 18-crown-6 to afford 3-aryl-4-cyanofuroxan/ furazan in 45–50% yield. read more here.
