Abstract: We report supramolecular helical assembly in water of β-turn structured bis(N-amidothioureas) containing Br-substitutes of moderate halogen bonding ability, promoted by stronger hydrophobic interaction. The helical polymers show an unusual negative nonlinear CD-ee dependence. read more here.
