Abstract: A series of homo- and hetero-trinuclear cobalt(II) complexes [Co3(L)(OAc)2(CH3CH2OH)(H2O)] (1), [Co2Ba(L)(OAc)2] (2) and [Co2Ca(L)(OAc)2]·CHCl3 (3), containing an acyclic naphthalenediol-based ligand H4L were synthesized.
