Published in 2017 at "Structural Chemistry"

DOI: 10.1007/s11224-017-0930-2

Abstract: Molecular dynamics simulations were carried out to explore a ε-CL-20/HMX (2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexazaisowurtzitane/1,3,5,7-tetranitro-1,3,5,7- tetrazacyclooctane) co-crystal-based polymer-bonded explosive (PBX) with HTPB (hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene). The binding energies, pair correlation functions, and mechanical properties of the PBXs were reported. From… read more here.

Published in 2020 at "Polymer"

DOI: 10.1016/j.polymer.2020.122807

Abstract: Abstract This article addresses the effect of enhanced segmental mixing on various physical properties of ferrocenylsilane tethered polybutadiene based polyurethane (PU). To study this, 2-(ferrocenylpropyl) dimethylsilane (FPDS) has been grafted to the pendant vinyl double… read more here.

Published in 2018 at "RSC Advances"

DOI: 10.1039/c7ra10574f

Abstract: Leakage of paraffin wax (PW) is a major concern in the development of polymer bonded explosive (PBX) systems because it relates to the amount of PW that can be used as a desensitizer or a… read more here.
