Abstract: A rhodium-catalyzed highly regio- and enantioselective hydroalkynylation generating cis-hydrobenzofuranone-tethered enynes has been developed. The reaction proceeds with a dynamic kinetic head-to-head insertion and symmetry breaking Michael addition cascade. read more here.
