Abstract: Two new mononuclear complexes of ten- and nine-coordinate terbium(III) were synthesized from Tb(NO3)3·5H2O and the tripodal alcohol 1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)propane (H3 L Et) to be employed as potential building blocks for heterometallic 3d–4f block metal aggregates. read more here.
