Abstract: Combined coherent X-ray diffraction imaging and wide-angle X-ray diffraction is demonstrated to study the morphology, internal structure and mineralogy of shale fragments. Estimates of the unconnected nanoscale pore structure of shale microparticles are obtained. read more here.
