Abstract: A new 4,5-epoxy-4,5-dihydro-α-ionone, emilifodione (1), was isolated from the leaves of Emilia sonchifolia (L.) DC. ex DC. (Asteraceae). The structure of the new ionone was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence. read more here.
