Abstract: Abstract The synthesis, crystal structures, and magnetic properties of a nonanuclear dysprosium complex [Dy9(μ3-OH)8(μ4-OH)2(N3)8{(py)2C(OCH3)O}8](OH)·4H2O (1, (py)2C(OCH3)OH = the hemiacetal form of di-2-pyridyl ketone) and a tetranuclear dysprosium complex [Dy4(μ4-O)(μ-N3)2(μ-OCH3)2(L)4](OH)2·3.5CH3OH (2, HL = 2-(benzothiazol-2-yl-hydrazonomethyl)-6-methoxyphenol) have been prepared and structural characterization.… read more here.
