Abstract: In this study, we report the emissive properties of a heteroleptic cyclometalated Ir(iii) complex, [Ir(bzq)2(PBO)] (bzqH = benzo[h]quinoline; PBOH = 2-(2-hydroxyphenyl)benzoxazole).
