Abstract: Molybdenum triiodide complexes bearing various substituted pyridine-based PNP-type pincer ligands are prepared and characterized by X-ray analysis. Their catalytic activity is investigated toward the reduction of nitrogen gas into ammonia under ambient reaction conditions. read more here.
