Published in 2019 at "Journal of Dynamical and Control Systems"

DOI: 10.1007/s10883-019-09469-y

Abstract: In the present paper we consider preserving orientation Morse-Smale diffeomorphisms on surfaces. Using the methods of factorization and linearizing neighbourhoods we prove that such diffeomorphisms have a finite number of orientable heteroclinic orbits. read more here.

Published in 2019 at "Journal of Fixed Point Theory and Applications"

DOI: 10.1007/s11784-019-0680-4

Abstract: We apply the representation of Lefschetz numbers of iterates in the form of periodic expansion to determine the minimal sets of Lefschetz periods of Morse–Smale diffeomorphisms. Applying this approach we present an algorithmic method of… read more here.

Published in 2020 at "Topology and its Applications"

DOI: 10.1016/j.topol.2020.107315

Abstract: We describe the topological structure of closed manifolds of dimension no less than four which admit Morse-Smale diffeomorphisms such that its non-wandering set contains any number of sink periodic points, and any number of source… read more here.

Published in 2023 at "IEEE transactions on visualization and computer graphics"

DOI: 10.1109/tvcg.2023.3261981

Abstract: This paper presents a well-scaling parallel algorithm for the computation of Morse-Smale (MS) segmentations, including the region separators and region boundaries. The segmentation of the domain into ascending and descending manifolds, solely defined on the… read more here.
