Abstract: Abstract Ag, Au and Cu NPs have been encapsulated within as-synthesized 2D flexible porous coordination polymer {[Zn(TBIB)(HTCPB)]∙2DMF·H2O}n [TBIB = 1,3,5-tri(1H-benzo[d]imidazol-1-yl)benzene, H3TCPB = 1,3,5-Tris(4′-carboxyphenyl-)benzene] 1 at room temperature without employing any reducing agent.
