Abstract: CuO-Ni(OH)2 heterostructure nanosheets were designed for efficient electrocatalytic oxidation of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) to 2,5-furanedioic acid (FDCA). The CuO-Ni(OH)2 nanosheets exhibited impressive performance, achieving 100% HMF conversion, 99.8% FDCA yield, and 98.4% faradaic efficiency. read more here.
