Abstract: A new C-α hydroxybenzylisoquinoline, annocherine D (1), was isolated from the stems of Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn. cv. Rosa-plena. The structure of the new alkaloid was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence. read more here.
