Abstract: Highly esterified pectinic substances were isolated from the plant species Ferula kuhistanica and F. tenuisecta. Their physicochemical characteristics were determined. Acid hydrolysis of the pectinic substances produced a galacturonan consisting only of D-galacturonic acids. read more here.

DOI: 10.1007/s10600-019-02658-y

Abstract: Highly esterified pectinic substances were isolated from bean (P. vulgaris) shells. Their monosaccharide composition was established. Their physicochemical parameters were determined. The pectin main chainwas shown to be a galacturonan with α-1,4-glycoside bonds between galacturonic… read more here.
