Abstract: Abstract Organometallic molybdenum compounds bearing poly[(methylthio)methyl]borates, [(η3-C3H5)Mo(CO)2(κ3-PhTt)] and [Bu4N][{(η3-C3H5)Mo(CO)2Cl}2(κ2:κ2-RTt)], where PhTt = phenyltris[(methylthio)methyl]borate and RTt = tetrakis[(methylthio)methyl]borate, have been obtained by ligand exchange reaction from [(η3-C3H5)Mo(CO)2(NCMe)2Cl] and appropriate borate.
