Abstract: Polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers were successfully synthesized from acetalation under the catalysis of novel polymeric acidic ionic liquids (PAILs). PAILs copolymerized by divinylbenzene with ILs displayed exceptional catalytic efficiencies. read more here.
