Abstract: The naphthoquinone unit in 2-hydroxy-3-(prop-2-yn-1-yl)naphthalene-1,4-dione is essentially planar and the linear propargyl group is nearly perpendicular to the naphthalene ring system. In the crystal, O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds form an infinite tape structure. read more here.
