Abstract: A poly[(phenylene vinylene)-co-dibenzocyclooctyne] polymer prepared by Wittig polymerization chemistry between dibenzocyclooctyne bisaldehyde [DIBO-(CHO)2] and bis(triethyleneglycol)phenylbis(tributylphosphonium) dibromide is reported.
