Abstract: We propose an effective synthetic approach to 2(6)-alkoxy(bi)pyridines as new push-pull fluorophores via their 1,2,4-triazine analogs. The photophysical properties of the new compounds were studied and the first study of their structure-property relationship was performed. read more here.
