Abstract: The dearomatization of naphthalene and anthracene is explored by their η2 coordination to {TpMo(NO)(MeIm)} and {TpMo(NO)(DMAP)} (where Tp = hydridotris(pyrazolyl)borate, MeIm = 1-methylimidazole, and DMAP = 4-(dimethylamino)pyridine).
