Abstract: Pyridines containing amine, amide, or hydrazide substituent were quaternized with (ω-haloalkyl)sulfonylacetamides, resulting in new pyridinium compounds that exhibited tuberculostatic activity against the strain H37Rv of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. read more here.
