Abstract: The reaction of 1-(cyclohexen-1-yl)pyrrolidines with 3-(α-chlorobenzyl)quinoxalin-2(1H)-ones resulted in the formation of 8,9,10,11-tetrahydroindolo[1,2-a]quinoxalin-6(5H)-ones via a tandem sequence of Stork enamine alkylation and intramolecular annulation. Oxidative dehydrogenation gave indolo[1,2-a]quinoxalin-6(5H)-one. read more here.
