Abstract: Abstract We have synthesized blue emitting compounds, DBI-SFX and SBF-SFX, by incorporating fluorene-9,9'-xanthene as main chromophore and introducing 1,2-diphenyl-1H-benzoimidazole and spirobi[fluorene] group. 1,2-Diphenyl-1H-benzoimidazole, 9,9’-spirobi[fluorene], and fluorene-9,9’-xanthene moieties were used to synthesize new blue emitters.
