Abstract: Glycosyl selenocyanate derivatives were prepared in water using KSeCN as selenium precursor. Reaction of glycosyl selenocyanate with sugar electrophiles in the presence of hydrazine monohydrate furnished Se-linked pseudodisaccharides. read more here.
