DOI: 10.1016/j.dyepig.2018.05.036

Abstract: Abstract Direct arylation polymerization enables “greener” synthesis of a high-performance semicrystalline π-conjugated polymer, poly[(2,5-bis(2-hexyldecyloxy)phenylene)-alt-(5,6-difluoro-4,7-di(thiophene-2-yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole) (PPDT2FBT). The resulting polymers show a hole mobility of 4.7 × 10−3 cm2 V−1 s−1 in bottom-gate/top-contact field effect transistors, and a power conversion efficiency over… read more here.

Published in 2020 at "Polymer"

DOI: 10.1016/j.polymer.2020.123150

Abstract: Abstract Scientific research on semicrystalline polymers started before the concept of macromolecules was proposed by Staudinger. Extensive studies have been devoted by generations of scientists to establishing this profoundly complex and impactful field. In this… read more here.

Published in 2022 at "ACS applied materials & interfaces"

DOI: 10.1021/acsami.2c07533

Abstract: Liquid crystal elastomers (LCEs) are stimuli-responsive materials capable of reversible and programmable shape change in response to an environmental stimulus. Despite the highly responsive nature of these materials, the modest elastic modulus and blocking stress… read more here.

Published in 2022 at "Journal of the American Chemical Society"

DOI: 10.1021/jacs.2c02981

Abstract: Stereocomplexation is a useful strategy for the enhancement of polymer properties by the co-crystallization of polymer strands with opposed chirality. Yet, with the exception of PLA, stereocomplexes of biodegradable polyesters are relatively underexplored and the… read more here.
