Abstract: Abstract Three new compounds, 3α, 2β-2-(3′-Hydroxy-4′-methoxy-phenyl)-1-(4″-hydroxy-5″-methoxyphenyl)-1-oxo-3-propanol (1), 1,6-Bis-(3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl) hexane-1,6-dione (2) and 1-(3-Methoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl)-6-(3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxyphenyl) hexane-1,6-dione (3) along with six known compounds (4–9) were isolated from the EtOAc-soluble extract of Eleutherococcus senticosus (Rupt. & Maxim.)
