Abstract: Abstract A novel tetrakis(4-(5,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxan-2- yl)phenyl)germane (2) was synthesized by the reaction of germanium(IV) tetrachloride with 4-(5,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,3-dioxan-2-yl)phenyllithium.
