Abstract: Abstract An I2-mediated N–N coupling reaction has been described for oxidation cyclization of 2,2,2-trifluoro-N-(1-iminoethyl)-N′-arylacetimidamide to synthesis of novel 3-methyl-1-aryl-5-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-1,2,4-triazole derivatives under mild conditions with excellent yield without need to any purification.
