was 200 cc. Intraoperative complication occurred in 10% of patients (10/114). Any grade postoperative complications occurred in 30% of patients (18/59). CD I and II complications were recorded for 27% of patients (31/114; PN vs RN, 31% vs 11%, respectively). One patient (1%) experienced CD IIIb complication (bleeding from renal parenchyma pseudoaneurysm submitted to embolization). No CD IV or V complications were recorded. Median HS was 6 days (IQR 5-8). At a median follow-up of 56 months, eGFR was 70 and 59 mL/min for PN and RN group, respectively. Median absolute and relative decline in eGFR were -23 mL/min and -23% for PN group and -35 mL/min and -39.5% for RN group, respectively. CONCLUSIONS: Among patients undergoing surgery for solitary AML according to EAU guidelines, 1 out of 3 patients in PN group and 1 out of 10 in RN group may experience postoperative complications. These are mainly of low CD grade and occur in patients submitted to PN. Moreover, a non-negligible renal function detriment was recorded for either PN and RN. These considerations allow for an informed clinical decision making when benefits and adverse events in case of surgery for AML are considered.
